During our three-night stay at Mas Villa, we were impressed by the warm hospitality of the manager, Akila. He made us feel at home and was always available to solve any issue. The hotel's unique history as a former villa of a Sri-Lankan minister adds to its charm. The stunning views of the lake and mountains are breathtaking. The staff, especially Damian, was extremely helpful. The hotel organized a memorable hike with a guide, and the food was absolutely delicious. A visit to the Bluefield Tea Estate is highly recommended. We fell in love with this place and will definitely come back for another stay.

The staff was very friendly, food was very good and the hotel is beautiful. Situated in the middle of greenery and mountains, it has stunning views. I very much enjoyed the stay.

I had an incredible stay at Mas Villa By Fox Resorts. The history and charm of the place truly transported me to a magical era. The stunning views of the Kotmale Reservoir and tea plantations were breathtaking. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and shared the beautiful history of the villa with me. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the curry rice made with locally sourced ingredients. The peaceful atmosphere and friendly service made me feel welcome and special. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly exceptional experience.

Location and architecture
Management was arrogan but staff friendly;it is nothing more then a b+b in a beautifull colonial building in a stunning environment but trying to predict to be a luxury place; international food was of poor quality (instant food); Sri Lankan food was good; breakfast was very poor - only dry toast and jam; out of 4 wines only one available which was horrible; no minibar; the bar was not stocked; overall fealing of beeing ripped off
